A couple of years ago I decided to indulge my desire to learn to spin. I started with a little home made drop spindle and some Finn fleece, and graduated to being the owner of three spinning wheels, and a mountain of fiber, plus acid based dye and other supplies for hand spinning and hand dying.

It’s not like I hadn’t already been making soap and selling it at local craft fairs for a while, and I’m an unabashed cloth diaperer… my kids health demanded it. Soon enough however I had so much yarn that I’d spun that I decided to open an Etsy shop.

The Etsy Mini below is just a sample of the things I have in stock there, and I try to stock at least twice a month, usually on a Monday. Recently my mother in law started including some of her items as well, and I have to say I love them dearly – keyboard rests that can be popped into the microwave to help release a burst of lavender scent while keeping your wrists supported and gently warmed – yeah I have to say these things have been a staple at my desk.
